Chris Roberts-Antieau Artist Statement

A visit last week to Santa Fe, NM included all the usual stops, the Plaza, Canyon Road, and Café Pasqual’s. The unexpected stop was at Antieau Gallery. A taxidermied swan covered with an embroidered, transparent fabric with beautifully rendered flora and fauna in the window proved irresistible. I needed to know more.

How often have I thought that everything would be just great if not for something this person did or how that person behaved?
